Dr. Jason Major has experience in family medicine, mental health and wellness, substance abuse management, and treating chronic pain conditions. Prior to becoming an advanced practice nurse clinician, he worked in the emergency room for seven years before later attaining his master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Graceland University in Independence, Missouri. He later went on to obtain a clinical doctorate degree in nursing from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Currently, he works as a professor at Roseman University where he instructs nurse practitioner and other nursing graduate students. Additionally, he is employed at White Tree Medical Clinic, where he manages patients with addiction disorders, and Terra Health and Wellness as a QMP. On a more personal note, he (sometimes) enjoys raising his three teenage children with his wife and high school sweetheart. They enjoy hiking together, exploring new places in Utah, going on walks, enjoying a great meal together, watching horror movies, playing card/board games, and listening to music.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Renel comes to Terra Health and Wellness with over 25 years of excellence in the healthcare industry.
With experience in primary care, urgent care, preventative care, and wellness coaching, Renel believes in empowering people to become the best versions of themselves through health promotion and education, extolling the belief that the pursuit of healthy living is the means to longevity and a peaceful existence.
In her free time, Renel enjoys being on a trail with a pack on her back, whether running, hiking or backpacking. You may also find her singing with a choir, playing piano, cooking or voraciously reading.
She adores being with her family and that very much includes her fur babies!
